Everything to gain.
Six average or middle lane drinkers take a break for ninety days, on camera. And the results are staggering.

Nobody has ever made a documentary about what happens when middle lane or average drinkers take a break from alcohol. Not the people in trouble.
The people who are fine, but wonder if their life might be better without it.
Going Dry follows six of them through sixty to ninety days, tracking their stats to see what it does to a body, a mind and a life.
Some of what happens is hard to believe. One participant's cholesterol went from 303 to 220.
Some of it is hard, including the friend who uninvites you from the big game once you mention you're not drinking.
Alongside them, Andy travels the globe to meet the world's leading scientists, and finds the whistleblowers who broke ranks to say what really goes on.
This is a film about the alcohol-free advantage.

Not commentators. The scientists who ran the studies, the clinician who treats the fallout, and the man who invented the alcohol-free spirits category.
They all agreed to take a break and to see what happened. Would their health improve? Would they succumb to the social pressure to drink? And what would they learn about themselves.
Todd
A firefighter in Atlanta, drinking to come down from a job that will not let him.
John
Fifty, a marketing executive in England, drinking the way his work expects him to.
Alisha
A single mother in West Virginia, a preschool teacher and a musician, stretched thin.
Nikki and Courtney
A couple with two children, for whom drinking is simply part of a social life.
And Brandon, a city professional and father of two in Des Moines, doing what everybody around him does.
Three of them went on to retrain as coaches.
Between them: Sundance, Cannes, TIFF and Hot Docs, an Academy Award nomination, an Emmy, and a bill passed through the US Congress. Alongside one of the leading voices in the alcohol-free movement.
Three years, four countries, six lives filmed from start to finish.
The premiere is live and online, with an introduction from Andy and a Q&A afterwards. Pick whichever time works where you are, and watch it from your own front room with a few thousand other people doing the same thing.
Pay what you wish, from $5. Every penny goes back into getting this film in front of more people.
